Search Results Detail Panel

You can view some information about your search results without leaving the search page by clicking on one of the buttons in the Info column or clicking on an image thumbnail.

Depending on the size of your screen, this Detail view will open either to the right of the search results or, if you are on a smaller screen such as a smartphone, it may open in a separate window.

Close the Detail panel by clicking the arrow button on desktop, or by clicking the X Close button on mobile.

You can switch between different views in the Detail panel by clicking on different buttons in the search results table. A number on the button indicates how many items, such as the number of attachments. A button may be grayed out or not appear if nothing applies.

For parts, the available buttons are as follows:

• Basic Info - Shows you some basic details about the part such as quantity, retail price, description etc.

• Part Allocations - Shows you the Sales Orders that either have quantity for the part held or sold.

• Attachments - Shows you all attachments on the part.

• Vehicle Info - If this part came from a vehicle teardown, this shows information from the vehicle the part was taken from.

For vehicles, the available buttons are as follows:

• Vehicle Info - Shows you some basic details about the vehicle, such as VIN, mileage, etc.

• Vehicle Components - Shows you a list of the parts taken off this vehicle or available to take off this vehicle.

• Attachments - Shows you all attachments on the vehicle.

You can also switch between different view options inside the panel itself by clicking on the menu at the top. More options are available in the menu than by using the buttons.

In this example, I clicked on the Attachments button for the Engine Assembly. The side panel opened where I can see both attached images for this part. I can click on a different button or change the Part Information drop down menu to change what information is displayed in the side panel.

In this example I used the menu to switch to the part’s Basic Info.
